Workers assemble the "Mini Pak'r" at the FP plant in Hopkinsville.  In August 2011, FP announced a plant expansion and the hiring of 60 new employees over the next several years.

These corporate citizens represent a host of business sectors including automotive, food products, printing, distribution, plastics, machinery and more. More than 50 industries employ over 7,400 workers with average wages that are 33% higher than the total average Christian County wage.

Beyond manufacturing, Hopkinsville also offers a variety of jobs in healthcare and education services, technical/professional, administration and retail trade.
