Christian County Public Schools offer a wide range of services to meet the needs of all its 9,700 students. The school system's goal is to provide a quality education for each child. Ten elementary schools, three middle schools, and two high schools are all accredited by the state of Kentucky and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
In addition to the traditional educational settings, programs are offered at a career & technical center, a preschool center, and an Adult Education Center. The school system strives to provide programs for the college-bound student and for the student who plans to enter the work force upon graduation.

Since its founding in 1994, Heritage Christian Academy strives to provide academically challenging, Christ-centered education based on the biblical view of God and His creation. They seek to educate, equip, and graduate students who boldly employ their knowledge, talents, and faith to profoundly impact the world for Christ. Heritage Christian Academy offers preschool programs for three and four-year olds, along with a rigorous K-12 curriculum. The school received ACSI accreditation in 1999 and 2006.

Established in 1947, Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School offers students a quality education within an academic as well as a religious community. The school operates a Preschool program for four-year-olds and provides instruction for grades Kindergarten through Eight. The school follows the religious and educational policies outlined in the Handbook for Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Owensboro. Additionally, our school complies with all regulations and accreditation requirements for the State of Kentucky.

Established in 1973 for grades one through eight, University Heights Academy finalized plans for a total K - 12 program in 1976. UHA graduated its first class in May 1978. The school currently maintains an enrollment of over 300 in grades K-12 and is accredited by The Independent Schools Association of the Central States. The Day Care Center is fully state-licensed for 60. The campus includes an all-weather track, a soccer field, a baseball field, a softball field, walking trails, a pond and stream, astronomy pad, and an activity building/gymnasium.

Hopkinsville Community College offers area residents the opportunity to obtain a quality postsecondary education without leaving home. The highly qualified faculty and staff are dedicated to helping students of all ages and walks of life succeed in accomplishing their objectives. A strong student services program supports the educational pursuit through an easy registration process, effective counseling, and a variety of scholarship and financial aid opportunities. More than 400 classes are offered on regional campuses every term, and hundreds of Internet classes are available as well.
Hopkinsville Community College offers customized business and industry training in a multitude of areas for job and career preparation, as well as skill development and upgrading. Adult Education programs offer classes in GED preparation, English as a Second Language and to refresh basic skills before enrolling in college classes.

A regional campus of Murray State University in Hopkinsville offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs, including a new 16-month accelerated degree program. Weekend, evening and online classes are available to accommodate a range of both traditional and non-traditional student needs. The Center for Continuing Education and Academic Outreach provides correspondence courses, extended campus classes, consultants and other public services.
