Equine Assisted Transitions Therapeutic Riding Center provides a unique service for our clients, adults and children of all ages - providing opportunities for growth and learning, physically, cognitively, and emotionally, through guided interactions with horses. We offer riding lessons for all levels and abilities - beginners to intermediate. Focus for Therapeutic Riding is to develop horsemanship skills to promote personal growth, independence, and self confidence. Lessons are facilitated by Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors and trained Volunteers. We also offer Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy with a licensed behavioral/mental health provider to help those dealing with emotional/behavioral issues. Therapeutic interactions with horses are designed to increase awareness and help decrease problematic behaviors and symptoms related to stress, depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief, PTSD, and many other non-medical issues experienced by individuals, couples, and families
